Paralegal jobs in Omaha, NE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys in all aspects of legal proceedings, ensuring the efficient management of their cases, and delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Organize and maintain documents in physical and electronic filing systems
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts for case preparation
- Review and summarize medical records, depositions, and discovery documents
- Prepare documents and exhibits for court proceedings
- Assist in trial preparation and closing files upon completion

This is not an exhaustive list, but rather the general day-to-day expectations.

Experience:

- 2 year of paralegal experience, specifically in the practice areas of personal injury and/or worker's compensation preferred

- 2 or more years of paralegal experience

- Paralegal certification preferred

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Proficiency in proofreading legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Ability to conduct interviews with clients
- Clerical skills for administrative tasks within a legal setting
- Knowledge of legal drafting procedures for various legal documents
- Experience in document review processes for discovery purposes

Compensation:

Our firm offers bonuses to every employee who facilitates the successful resolution of cases. This is in addition to base salary pay, and on average, occurs several times throughout the year.
