Utilizes a variety of sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, and legal codes to research and analyze legal topics. Being a Paralegal drafts and edits legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, motions, and contracts. Conducts fact-finding, data collection, and analysis used to prepare statements and arguments. Additionally, Paralegal assists attorneys with depositions, interviews, discovery, and investigations. Manages, organizes, and archives documents with software tools and technology. As a reflection of our current needs and planned growth we are very pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our dedicated team as a Contract Paralegal. This position will require providing legal and administrative support to the TAG in-house counsel team, including assisting with document preparation and review, management of legal document flow, mail processing, and other administrative work as assigned.
Essential Responsibilities
Assists TAG attorneys with preparing, reviewing, editing, and otherwise managing the contract flow within the TAG organization and with outside vendors;
Ensure contracts are properly executed and uploaded to the appropriate location;
Update and manage templates, forms and other legal documents for internal use;
Monitor the contract flow both internally and externally; and
Provide general administrative or paralegal assistance as requested by TAG attorneys.
Requirements/Qualifications
Associate’s Degree preferred (not required and may be supplemented with additional experience)
1-3 years of contract paralegal experience preferred;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook) and .pdf applications;
Ability to effectively communicate and seek assistance or ask questions as needed; and
Strong organizational skills and proactive in meeting deadlines.
