The ideal candidate for this position will use their work experience and organizational skills to prepare and maintain legal documents, file motions, interview clients, and support the lawyers in serving our clients and otherwise. $20 - $23 per hour

• Communicate with clients, providing compassionate and empathetic support, while keeping them informed about case developments
• Assist attorneys in drafting and preparing legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and affidavits
• Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and responding to emails and website contacts as needed in coordination with legal assistant and file clerk
• Manage and organize electronic case files, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and securely and matter notes regarding status are complete
• Schedule client meetings, hearings, and court appearances, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made
• Collaborate with the legal team to facilitate effective matter management and coordination
• Meet with clients to gather information needed to complete documents and complete deadlines
• Administrative assistant to owner
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions and tasks

• Candidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preference
• Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
