Scheer Law Group, LLP (“SLG”) is an AV rated firm with offices in Northern and Southern California. SLG represents secured creditors in real estate and creditor bankruptcy matters and also represents landlords in landlord-tenant law.

SLG is looking for an individual who has experience as a litigation paralegal and experience maintaining quality control or overseeing legal processes. In essence, you will learn our current litigation procedures related to our creditor-bankruptcy and eviction departments, and assist as needed. In addition, you will work with the managing partners and department heads to review, and when necessary, revamp procedures and assist to implement quality control follow up with SLG staff. This would include ensuring that deadlines are being met, and that procedures between the two SLG offices are coordinated. In essence, a fast paced job requiring both paralegal and administrative skills and an ability to work well with people to find solutions that benefit the whole firm. An individual who has both skill sets and has experience in creditor bankruptcy and collection matters will be of significant interest to the firm.

The following are requirements for this job position:

· Minimum 5 years of paralegal experience with a litigation firm, evidencing ability to handle deadlines and manage work independently.

· 2 or more years of administrative experience, implementing procedures and follow up to ensure quality control.

· Proficiency in Word and Excel. Experience with ProLaw, front and back office, not required but a plus.

· Experience efiling documents in state and federal courts.

· A stable job history, evidencing success at your prior or present employer.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
