Responsible for case management by assigning cases and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion. Being a Paralegal Manager validates and oversees the preparation of legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, motions, appeals, wills, and contracts. Organizes documents into formal report and proofs for attorneys. Additionally, Paralegal Manager provides research and training support to the paralegals utilizing databases and legal libraries. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager (Paralegal) to join our team. As a Care Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with planning for families and business owners, providing support in various legal matters.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist attorney in non-adversarial estate planning, estates, real estate, and business law matters.
2. Conduct client interviews, gather necessary information, and assist in drafting legal documents.
3. Manage client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
4. Organize and maintain legal files and documentation.
5. Coordinate appointments, meetings, and court appearances as needed.
6. Conduct intake interviews with prospective clients.
7. Assist with basic billing and bookkeeping tasks related to client accounts.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or higher degree.
2. Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a law office, with a focus on probate.
3. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
4. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Experience in estate planning, intake/client screening, or basic bookkeeping is a plus.
