Coordinates the preparation of legal documents and tracks projects to ensure the work is completed accurately and on time. Being a Paralegal Supervisor organizes documents into formal report and proofs for attorneys. Trains paralegals to effectively utilize databases and legal libraries to conduct research. Additionally, Paralegal Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Paralegal Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. The successful candidate will have the general responsibility for all aspects of the administration of estates and trusts as assigned by an attorney. They shall prepare all required probate documents and court filings, inheritance and estate tax returns, assist with preparation of fiduciary income tax returns, asset transfers and claims, advise executors and trustees through all aspects of the estate/trust administration process and provide estate/trust related support to other members of the firm.
