Grand Rapids, MI law firm specializing in workers' compensation defense litigation is seeking a motivated individual to join our paralegal team. The following job responsibilities are not all inclusive, flexibility and willingness to learn is a requirement of this position. The ideal candidate possesses a bachelor's degree in paralegal studies from an accredited college, but it is not a requirement and we will consider all qualified candidates with flexibility regarding educational background and experience.

Job Responsibilities:

· Analyzing and summarizing medical records and other file materials

· Preparing memorandums, case assessments and subpoenas

· Prepare facilitation briefs and file summaries

· Drafting correspondence

· Aiding in discovery

Skill Requirements:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to prioritize based on importance of task

· Highly organized and detail oriented

· Can successfully manage multiple priorities

· Works well in a high volume fast paced work environment

· Proficient typing skills

· Familiar with Microsoft Office

· Team player with a positive attitude
