Paralegal Supervisor supervises the paralegal team and implements systems and processes utilized to conduct research and produce legal documents. Coordinates the preparation of legal documents and tracks projects to ensure the work is completed accurately and on time. Being a Paralegal Supervisor organizes documents into formal report and proofs for attorneys. Trains paralegals to effectively utilize databases and legal libraries to conduct research. Additionally, Paralegal Supervisor typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires Paralegal Certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Paralegal Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Paralegal Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Thorough knowledge of functional area and department processes.   • What you’ll be doing:

    • Act as the primary control and review for all of the firm’s contractual client agreements, including engagement letters. Review documents against firm standards and provide response/recommendations for edits. Follow client contract process to signature/completion.
    • Act as the primary control and review for other contractual agreements with vendors, suppliers, consultants and contractors. Creating internal firm contracts with independent contractors and following the process to signature/completion.
    • Provide support and assistance to the CFO and COO with other legal, contractual and compliance issues.
    • Draft and proofread various legal documents, correspondence, memorandums, and nondisclosure agreements.
    • Lead compliance activities associated with corporate level licensing for every state applicable.
    • Assist with research and analysis for corporate compliance issues when we enter new states for operation.
    • Maintain records to ensure adherence to all contractual obligations.
    • Report and maintain status records for all insurance claim submissions.
    • Responsible for creating and adhering to policies and procedures to support overall firm risk management.
    • Maintain a high level of confidentiality for the safeguard of clients and employees.

    What you’ll bring to the role:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
    • Paralegal certification required
    • Proficient in MS office and CRM systems
    • Excellent oral, written and negotiation skills
    • Ability to be a self sufficient and detail oriented team member
