POSITION: Part-Time/OHV Park Aide LOCATION: OHV Department
HOURS: Varied hours and days; will work weekends SALARY: $16.00/hr.
and holidays as assigned.
JOB DUTIES:
1. Assist OHV personnel relating to Off-Highway Vehicle recreation programs, events, and daily park operations.
2. Collect and account for money received.
3. Collect OHV related fees.
4. Issue OHV related permits and prepare written receipts.
5. Provide information hand-outs to visitors.
6. Answer OHV recreation related questions.
7. Perform light maintenance and cleaning of workstation and facilities.
8. Perform data entry.
9. Perform duties as deemed necessary and essential to facilitate a temporary “Permit” sale workstation.
10. Assist in First Aid Station.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
2. Ability to work harmoniously with fellow employees and the public.
3. Ability to prepare clear and concise record sheets.
4. Ability to collect and account for all money received. Must have the ability to write clearly and concisely and keep a clean work area.
5. Have knowledge of: laws, safe practices, and regulations relating to OHV recreation; not required but preferred.
6. Possess valid California Driver's License and good driving record.
7. Possess High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
8. Possess current First Aide/CPR certificate.
9. First Response experienced preferred

Oral Interview required.
