Situated in Ft. Myers, Florida Park Royal Hopsital is a leading institution offering psychiatric care to individuals 18 years of age and older. As one of the newest freestanding behavioral health facilities in the United States, Park Royal offers a continuum of care including detox, inpatient, and outpatient programs.
We currently have an opening for the position of Chief Health Nursing Officer, a full-time salaried role integral to our dynamic leadership Park Royal Hospital. The CNO is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supervising nursing operations and the provision of behavioral health/nursing services. We are seeking an individual who embodies a positive, empathetic, and professional approach in their interactions with both customers and nursing staff. Qualifications:EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing required.
- Master’s degree in psychiatric or mental health nursing preferred.
- Five or more years’ nursing experience.
- Three or more years progressive managerial experience required.
- Three or more years behavioral health experience preferred.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:- Current RN icense.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
