Park Naturalist plans, develops, and conducts programs to inform the public of historical, natural, and scientific features concerning national, state, or local parks. May require a bachelor's degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Being a Park Naturalist is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. About us
This position is responsible for day-to-day, in-park duties such as grounds and maintenance, facilities/playground maintenance, trash clean-up, campsite turn-over, accommodating customer requests, custodial and enforcement of rules. Additionally, this position will also include chauffeuring tubers/kayakers to area launch sites. A chauffeurs license is required. Occasionally, may assist in the park office.
