Parking Attendant distributes tickets to customers and collects payments in a parking facility. Directs customers to appropriate parking spaces. Being a Parking Attendant may park and retrieve automobiles in a full-service parking lot or garage. Greets guests and ensures timely service. Additionally, Parking Attendant may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Requires Driver's license. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Parking Attendant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsible for control and issue of linen and terry products used by room and food and beverage divisions. Ensures that all laundry is removed from chutes, sorted and prepared for transport to wash area. Removes soiled items from laundry carts, inspects linen and terry for damage or stains, sorts, separates and bags soiled linen and terry for processing.
