Our client is a trusted name among parents and families in Westchester and Fairfield counties. Their classrooms are safe, nurturing environments for children six weeks to five years, offering age-appropriate opportunities to explore and discover. Highly trained teachers lead each child to reach developmental milestones, preparing the children for social and academic success.

Our client is looking for fun and energetic full-time Assistant Teachers to join their premier preschool in Norwalk. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with students 2-years-old and younger.

Salary and Benefits:

• $17.00 - $21.00/hour pending education, credentials, and professional experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum
• Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

Qualifications:

• At least 18-years-old with either a high school diploma or GED
• Childcare experience in a professional capacity (Early Childhood Education, Elementary School, Nannying, After-School Programs, Summer Camps, etc.) required
• Meet background check eligibility
