Their classrooms are safe, nurturing environments for children six weeks to six years, offering age-appropriate opportunities to explore and discover. Highly trained teachers lead each child to reach developmental milestones, preparing the children for social and academic success.

Our client is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, motivated, and highly organized Director of Operations to join their brand-new preschool that is opening in Lynnwood, WA. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who has extensive leadership experience within a licensed preschool program.

Salary and Benefits:

• Annual base salary $60,000 pending education, credentials, and professional experience. In addition, there are bonus incentives based on performance and enrollment metrics.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and oversee all aspects of the preschool's daily operations, including curriculum development, staff management, and parent communication.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the holistic growth of young learners.
• Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff. Provide ongoing professional development opportunities to ensure a high-quality teaching team.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements, maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment for children.
• Financial Management: Oversee the preschool's budget, manage finances efficiently, and work to achieve and maintain financial sustainability.
• Parent Communication: Foster positive relationships with parents and families, maintaining open and transparent communication channels.
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain partnerships with the local community, including parents, educational organizations, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• At least three years of experience as a Director in a licensed early education facility required – must have completed state licensing as a Preschool Director or eligibility to obtain it.
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field required
• Ability to learn new technology (devices and software)
• Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire others
• Demonstrate highly effective organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Meet background check eligibility
