Position: Administrative Pastor

Purpose: This new role of Administrative Pastor at New Horizon Baptist Church will play a crucial role in the administration and management of church operations and report directly to the Senior Pastor

Job Summary: The Administrative Pastor is responsible for overseeing the church’s operations and cooperates with strategic planning, administration, and human resources to achieve its mission and vision. This role involves leading and managing church staff to ensure effective ministry and church growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee church operations and strategic planning.
• Lead, oversee, and conduct regular meetings with church staff.
• Collaborate with the senior pastor and elders on ministry administration and mission implementation.
• Manage human resources operations, including implementation of the SIMPLE Method related to assigning, repositioning, and transitioning church leaders or staff.
• Assist staff in managing ministry budgets.
• Review and implement policies and procedures for efficient church operations.

Requirements:

• An evident relationship with Jesus Christ.
• A Master of Divinity degree or equivalent theological education (3rd year student in seminary).
• At least 5 years of relevant ministry experience.
• Proficiency with church management software and MS Office Suite.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in accordance with biblical principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.

• A capable leader who can inspire and motivate staff and congregation.
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40,374.59 - $48,623.16 per year

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
