Position Description
Job Title: Worship Pastor

Reports to: Pastor

(10-15 hours weekly, on average)

Purpose
To provide corporate worship leadership to Hutto Community Church

Qualifications:

• Complete buy in of HCC’s Vision
• A mature, growing believer with a clear understanding of the Gospel, along with the ability to clearly communicate it.
• Seek to continually grow in that relationship with Christ through personal spiritual discipline, education, accountability and service to His Kingdom a personal spiritual life congruent with biblical mandates for leaders (1 Timothy 3:1-7)
• Must have a teachable spirit and be willing to grow as ministry grows
• Committed to spiritual integrity and artistic excellence.
• Effective communication skills (oral and written).
• Shepherding skills (lovingly lead, coach and counsel with wisdom and discernment).
• Committed to our community.

• Ability to lead people into a worshipful and Spirit-filled setting
• Ability and flexibility to adjust to what the Holy Spirit is doing in a worship setting
• Basic knowledge of worship environment technical infrastructure (ProPresenter, Resi, Ableton)
• Instrumental competency on at least one instrument; able to read and chart musical arrangements

Responsibilities

• Plan the worship service
• Build and train worship team and tech team
• Builds and loads charts, MP3s and other necessary preparation materials into Planning Center for scheduled band members
• Prepare Pro-Presenter Script and edits slides prior to Sunday run through
• Participate in Small Group
• Assist in planning and serving at special events
• Meet quarterly with Elder Team
• All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15,000.00 per year
