Pastor directs religious services and all daily operations of an organization. Provides spiritual leadership, guidance, and assistance to members. Being a Pastor supervises church staff and associated administrative businesses to ensure operational needs are met. Designs and oversees outreach and educational programs and events to support the community. Additionally, Pastor coordinates volunteers to ensure community outreach goals are fulfilled. Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. The Pastor typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Pastor typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Responsibilities:
Must be fluent in ASL
- Lead and oversee the spiritual growth and development of the congregation
- Conduct religious services, including preaching and teaching
- Provide pastoral care and support to individuals and families
- Perform Christian counseling and mentorship to guide individuals in their faith journey
- Write and deliver sermons that are relevant and engaging to the congregation
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills in guiding the church community
- Present a positive and welcoming presence within the church and community
- Manage conflicts within the congregation with tact and empathy
- Educate and empower members of the congregation to live out their faith in their daily lives
Experience:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire others
- Excellent communication skills, both written and in ASL, for delivering sermons and providing pastoral care
- Conflict management skills to address issues within the congregation effectively
