Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. Worship Arts Director/Pastor
Position Summary :
The Foundry Church is a Wesleyan church in Taylors, SC. Planted in January of 2020, Foundry is committed to living out its mission of doing justice, loving mercy and walking humbly with God (Micah 6:8). The Worship Arts leader is responsible for facilitating all creative aspects in the worship environments at Foundry Church. This includes the visual, musical, and experiential aspects of Sunday mornings to ensure a purposeful and spirit filled worship experience.
Scope of Responsibility
● Work directly with the Pastor(s) in brainstorming and producing creative ideas for use in all worship services.
● Equip and inspire Worship arts team (band and tech) members to use and grow their gifts in church worship environments.
● Attend regular planning meetings with Pastor and others as needed.
● Proficiency in ProPresenter is strongly desired (to use and train.
● Familiarity with Planning Center is desired.
● Coordinate special services, including but not limited to Christmas, Easter and other unique worship experiences.
● An ability to produce or train volunteers to produce an online experience for Foundry is desired but not required.
● To communicate with the Pastor(s) about vision and direction of teams and worship services and to communicate that vision to WA team members.
● Assist in the development of an annual budget for areas of leadership and manage spending according to the budget.
● To be active in the overall life and ministry of Foundry Church
Supervision
● Reports to the Pastor directly. The WA Director will be expected to participate in regular individual leadership development meetings and additional team meetings.
● In addition to directing and shepherding volunteers the WA director will be expected to receive feedback and communicate with volunteers in a manner that gives them a voice in the direction of the ministry.

● Be open to learning new skill sets that will help them develop in the ministry preparation.
● Be supportive of church policy, pastor and staff, and be able to communicate that support.
● Show commitment to attending Foundry Church and subsequent activities.
Other Expectations
● A typical work week would be 10-15 hours per week.
● Salary and time off will be commensurate with experience and discussed and offered in writing before employment begins.
