Being a Pastor supervises church staff and associated administrative businesses to ensure operational needs are met. Designs and oversees outreach and educational programs and events to support the community. Additionally, Pastor coordinates volunteers to ensure community outreach goals are fulfilled. Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. The Pastor typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Pastor typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Requirements

    The Overview

    New Hope is a family-oriented church located in a growing community of northern Rhode Island. We are a multi-generational church with a weekly worship attendance of 60-70. Our loving, motivated, and compassionate congregation needs a dynamic visionary man to lead us. Our worship style is a blend of hymns and contemporary music led by our worship leader. An ability to play an instrument (guitar or piano) and/or sing is a plus. The church is debt free and offering a full-time salary. A theological degree from a conservative evangelical college is preferred. We are dispensational in theology. The prospective pastor will have a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ along with the biblical qualifications found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and be in agreement with the church's Statement of Faith
