Pastor directs religious services and all daily operations of an organization. Provides spiritual leadership, guidance, and assistance to members. Being a Pastor supervises church staff and associated administrative businesses to ensure operational needs are met. Designs and oversees outreach and educational programs and events to support the community. Additionally, Pastor coordinates volunteers to ensure community outreach goals are fulfilled. Performs religious services, leads prayer, and conducts worship. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a regional or chapter manager. The Pastor typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Pastor typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Responsibilities:
- Provide spiritual leadership and guidance to the congregation
- Plan and lead worship services, including preaching and teaching

- Conduct Christian counseling sessions to address personal, relational, or spiritual issues
- Mentor and disciple individuals in their faith journey

- Write and deliver sermons that are relevant and engaging
- Conduct crisis interventions when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience as a pastor or in a pastoral role is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and strategies
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Familiarity with bereavement support and hospice care principles
- Ability to educate and teach biblical principles effectively
- Proficient in Christian counseling techniques
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
