As the memory care director, you will:

• create and implement memory care programming to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of residents
• participate in developing department policies and practices to support memory care needs
• coordinate and facilitate memory care training for employees
• tour perspective families and/or residents
• serve as primary point of contact for all memory care needs
• participate in care conferences and IDT meetings
• attend local Alzheimer's Association meetings

Required Skills:

• excellent customer service and communication skills
• previous employment in a caregiving role (i.e. nurse, resident assistant (RA), CNA, personal care worker, or home health aide)
• previous experience with memory care population is preferred
• ability to multi-task and perform in an environment with interruptions and multiple responsibilities
• computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and other programs
