The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for operation of the clinic. This person greets all the clients upon entering the clinic, is responsible for collecting information on new patients as well as the scheduling of existing patients. The Clinic Coordinator answers the phone and takes new referrals. He or she coordinates the insurance verification of new patients, and is also responsible for the collection of co –payments as well as the initial insurance explanation to new patients. Advanced duties may include calling and ordering medications for patients as ordered by provider, obtaining downloads from therapeutic equipment and taking vital signs and histories of patients and documenting in EMR. The ideal candidate should have experience in Worker's Compensation and Personal Injury.
