- Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents/patients
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care
- Create and update care plans for residents/patients based on their individual needs and medical conditions
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, nursing practices, and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Advocate for resident/patient rights and ensure a safe and comfortable environment
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Valid nursing license in the state of employment
- Proven experience in nursing administration or a similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of acute care, home health, and long-term care practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- In-depth understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care procedures
- Ability to effectively manage resources, budgets, and staffing levels within the nursing department
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms
