Pastoral Care Director - Nursing Home jobs in Atlantic City, NJ

Qualifications:

• A licensed RN, issued by the NJ Board of Nursing
• Graduate from an accredited college with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in nursing or other health related field
• 2 Years of experience as a RN in community health or home health
• Availability via telephone and provide home visits

Responsibilities:

• Assists in planning and overall development and administration of the company per agency policy and procedures.
• provide or delegate hands-on clinical care as indicated by the plan of care and evaluate resident outcomes.
• Develop the care plan and oversee its execution
• Supervise staff in the field
• Responsible for the overall coordination and evaluation of Client Services.
• Responsible for overall coordination of the quality improvement and risk management program per agency policy.
• Monitors the clinical status of all clients.
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with the client and his/her family members.
• Interprets to the client and family implications of the clients health status.
• Assist in the hiring process (inteview,orientation, competency)
• Evaluates and supervises staff
• Coordinates in-service training. Maintains all documentation of attendance.
• Performs functions of the Nursing Supervisor as needed.
• Consistently adheres to universal precautions, aseptic technique and infection control guidelines.
• Demonstrates the ability to function effectively under stressful situations
• Maintains confidentiality of client assessments and records.
• Respects the rights , privacy and property of others at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 10 per week
