Job Opening: LPN Home Care Nursing Job – must be licensed LPN or RN
Branch: Tonawanda, NY (Buffalo)
Location: client in Buffalo NY (near Delaware Park)
Rates: Premium rate range of $35 – $40 / hour
Available Shifts: client needs care 24/7. Open shifts are: overnights, 7pm to 7am, every other Friday, every other Sat & Sun.
Provide nursing care (private) for a quadriplegic client in Buffalo NY (near Delaware Park). Duties include personal care including feeding, bowel regimen, transfer with Hoyer, extensive turning & positioning, feeding tube care, and medication management. View job description »
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Must be a LPN or RN currently licensed to practice in New York State, with at least six months experience as a LPN or RN and/or competent in knowledge and skills based on successful completion of the pre-employment nursing test and demonstration of skills.
Must be competent in all skills required on assignment following case orientation and on the job training.
Current certification in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is required.
Must have reliable transportation.
This position requires the completion of health examination and required tests/immunizations and the completion of annual health assessment thereafter to certify that the incumbent is free of communicable disease and physically capable of performing assigned duty.
