Casper Mountain Rehabilitation and Care Center is now hiring a Director of Nursing (DON)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing Clinical Supervision for all residents.
• Responsible for rounding on all facility residents.
• Assists the Director of Nursing in organizing and directing day-to-day functions.
• Assists with staffing needs.
• Assists with audits and follow-ups.
• Perform chart reviews.
• Follow-up and monitor patient change of condition and various clinical issues.
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team.
• Manage incident/accident practices to comply with State/Federal regulations as directed by DON.
• Manage and direct Nursing Department in partnership with and in absence of DON.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in the state of Wyoming or a compact state.
• Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other healthcare-related facilities - preferred but not required.
• Knowledgeable of general, rehabilitative, and restorative nursing and medical practices and procedures and laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled.
