Director of Nursing Services - Nursing Home

• The Nursing Director is the Nursing Leader for the Nursing Home.
• Responsible for the patient population and assigned nursing and ancillary staff.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the activities that take place in the Nursing Home.
• Provide direction, support, and guidance to nurses and other staff.
• Twenty-four hour accountability for Nursing Staff.
• Patients need care 24/7 and facility employees must be available to provide that care.
• Employees are to care for patients regardless of the patient’s personal characteristics.
• Patients need care 24/7 and facility employees must be available to provide that care.
• Employees are to care for patients regardless of the patient’s personal characteristics.

Qualifications:

• 2 years Director of Nursing experience and/or 2 years as an Assistant Director of Nursing in a long term care facility preferred

• Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing (BSN preferred)

• NM RN License
• BLS certification
