    - Ensure the facility's compliance with all applicable laws and standards, including conducting regular audits and assessments.

    3. **Staff Development and Management:**

    - Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff.

    - Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

    - Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance issues in a timely and constructive manner.

    4. **Quality Improvement:**

    - Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to enhance the overall quality of care.

    - Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address deficiencies.

    5. **Interdisciplinary Collaboration:**

    - Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless coordination of services and an integrated approach to resident care.

    - Foster effective communication and teamwork among healthcare professionals within the facility.

    6. **Budget Management:**

    - Work closely with the executive team to develop and manage the nursing department budget.

    - Ensure efficient resource utilization while maintaining high-quality care standards.

    Requirements:

    - Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.

    - Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role within a skilled nursing facility.

    - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards for skilled nursing facilities.

    - Excellent leadership and communication skills.

    - Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff.

    - Demonstrated ability to implement and manage quality improvement initiatives.

    - Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems, Point Click Care (PCC)
