Our organization is looking for a Director of Nursing to lead our team of nurses in providing quality care to our geriatric and long-term care patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in nursing home and inpatient settings, as well as a strong understanding of the regulations and standards that govern the industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff, and ensuring that all patients receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide oversight of the nursing staff and ensure proper staffing levels are maintained.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing department.
• Develop and implement quality assurance measures to ensure quality patient care.
• Provide education and training to nursing staff on geriatric care, long-term care, and inpatient care.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
