Pellegrino’s Trattoria in Troutman, NC is looking for a chef with creative recipes to join our 21 person strong team. We are a family restaurant that serves authentic Italian cooking. We are located on 275 N. Main St. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food safety handling and sanitation practices for kitchen staff
• come to work on time
• Prepare dishes to customer preferences
• Plan and delegate food preparation and cooking tasks to the BOH team
• Train and develop cooks as needed
• attendance is key, if you have a habit of taking Days off every two weeks, don’t apply.
• ************Must have worked in a Italian Restaurant cooking for at least 1 year.********** this is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate the team
• Relevant food safety and handling certificate
• Experience as a chef is a must*
