More on the Role:

This role is for a litigation attorney. We’re not huge on traditional labels so you won’t be called an “associate” - just ask our Chief Tech Whisperer or Chief Storyteller. The key is that you’ll be the go-to person for your clients. You need to be comfortable managing an active caseload and interacting and communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.

In addition to running your case load, you’ll help us continuously improve the way we practice by automating documents or tasks, finding efficiencies, or embracing new technology. Don’t worry—you don’t need to be an expert in all these things, we have tools and people to help you! But a relentless incrementalism mindset is a must.

What we’re looking for:

We need someone with a solid four to ten years of experience in civil litigation or probate.

What We Provide:

This is a full-time hybrid position. Our office is in Columbus.

And now, the perks! Here's what you can expect when you join our team:

• Starting base range is $90,000 - $100,000 with the equivalent of 1,350 billable hours per year.
• 25% of all billables over the equivalent of 1,350 per year.
• “Get Outside” bonus ($200 for every 15 hours of volunteer work)
• Flexible work environment: We have an office for when you want/need to be in the office, but you can also work from home when you want/need.
• 401k match at 4% after 3 months of work.

• Pretty Casual office (jeans are cool, sweatpants not so much)
• Technology Software: Clio, Microsoft Word, Google Business Suite, Gavel (document automation), Adobe Acrobat Pro, Lexis (50 state case law/statutes and OH forms), Canva (if desired), Lawmatics, RingCentral, Dropbox, and TimeWise.
• Technology Hardware: Macbook or Mac Mini, Apple keyboard/mouse, earbuds or over-ear headphones for calls, EPSON high-res scanner, and up to 2 monitors.
• OBLIC liability insurance coverage.
• CBA or OSBA annual membership.
• State bar dues for all states you are actively practicing in.
• Unlimited vacation time (must use at least 2 weeks).
• $5,000 per year networking/marketing budget
