Responsibilities:

• Sole and joint responsibility for defense of traffic, misdemeanor, and felony cases in our statewide OWI and criminal defense practice.

Qualifications:

• Great attention to detail and strong organizational and interpersonal skills;
• Proficient computer skills; both Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Voice, and Drive) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook);
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated;
• Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and proofing skills;
• Bachelor’s degree;
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school;
• State bar admission;
• Ability to work once per week or more in either of our offices Manitowoc, Waunakee, Baraboo preferred, but not required;
• Knowledge and command of emerging technologies preferred (e.g., generative AI, legal tech, case management software, et cetera);
• At least two years experience defending criminal cases;
• Spanish language fluency is a plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $6,000.00 per hour
