Additionally, Patent Attorney requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patent Attorney work is closely managed. Responsibilities of the job include assistance with case management, calendaring of internal and external events and deadlines, proofreading and formatting documents, communicating with clients and court staff, document preparation, and other administrative tasks, as needed.
