Responsible for preparing and filing patent applications and trademark registrations, litigating pending applications and registrations, and reporting possible violations. Being a Patent Attorney prosecutes violations of organization's registrations and/or patents. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Additionally, Patent Attorney requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patent Attorney work is closely managed. We are currently hiring for two legal assistant positions in our expanding office. One position will be based in our Riverside office, while the other will be located in our new office in downtown San Bernardino, conveniently situated near the courthouse on 5th Street. We are seeking reliable, self-motivated individuals who are committed to long-term employment and possess a goal-driven attitude. As a legal assistant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both current and prospective clients.
- Answering incoming calls and making outbound calls
- Managing and responding to emails
- Drafting various correspondence letters
- Data entry tasks
- Screening potential clients
- Conducting meetings with existing clients
- Scheduling appointments
- Providing face-to-face and over-the-phone customer service
- Assisting with other administrative tasks as needed
- Proficiency in both written and spoken Spanish
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in office receptionist or clerical roles
- Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute and 10-key by touch
- Demonstrated experience in customer service within an office environment
- Strong team-player mentality
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Responsible and dependable work ethic
- Experience with court and immigration form preparation is a plus!
- Must pass a background check is mandatory
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
Hourly wage ranging from $17 to $19, with the opportunity for monthly bonuses.
