Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to lawyers and enhance office effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
- Write legal documents, correspondence, and memos under attorney supervision
- Assist in preparing legal documents such as motions, discovery and orders
- Communicate with attorneys, law enforcement and witnesses/victims
- Handle data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain attorney calendars and schedule appointments
- Manage incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Assist in document and evidence review processes

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal software applications
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Familiarity with electronic filing

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $36,000.00 per year
