Responsible for preparing and filing patent applications and trademark registrations, litigating pending applications and registrations, and reporting possible violations. Being a Patent Attorney prosecutes violations of organization's registrations and/or patents. Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Additionally, Patent Attorney requires admittance to a state bar. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patent Attorney work is closely managed. One position requires previous experience.
The other position will be entry level, licensing is not required upon application or hire, but must be obtained within 6 months. ARSI® offers paid time off to study for the bar exam for those not yet licensed.
