Being a Pathology Assistant may record findings or sterilize equipment. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree from an accredited program. Additionally, Pathology Assistant may require certification as a pathologist assistant. Typically reports to a pathologist. To be a Pathology Assistant typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. A private practice in Las Vegas, Nevada is searching for BE/BC Breast Pathologist. They are seeking candidates interested in a dynamic, multi-specialty pathology practice serving both inpatient and outpatient clients. The successful candidate will work alongside one or more senior pathologists in one of the ten Las Vegas hospitals served by the group. Sign-out responsibilities will include a diverse mix of inpatient hospital cases, an allocation of outpatient cases and a hospital-based practice.
Qualified Candidates:- Board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
- Fellowship training in Breast Pathology is preferred, but we will also consider non fellowship-trained candidates with extensive experience in Breast Pathology
- Ability to obtain a Nevada license
