Pathology Assistant under the supervision of a pathologist assists with preparing and dissecting surgical specimens. Prepares and selects tissue samples for analysis. Being a Pathology Assistant may record findings or sterilize equipment. Requires a bachelor's/master's degree from an accredited program. Additionally, Pathology Assistant may require certification as a pathologist assistant. Typically reports to a pathologist. To be a Pathology Assistant typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. ACES is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. The ACES Speech and Language Services department is hiring SLPAs to provide short-term or long-term school-based coverage in ACES member school districts. Services would be provided under the supervision of a Speech-Language Pathologist.
We are currently looking to fill 1-2 openings at an elementary school (preK-5th grade) in the New Haven County, lower Naugatuck Valley region.
