    SUMMARY:
    Responsible for assisting supervisor/director in the effective and efficient operations of the department. Understands thoroughly the different methods of reimbursement and collections. Assist in training and monitoring of staff, and the daily functions within the department. Provides functional guidance to staff.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Certification in medical procedural coding or equivalent work experience.

    HOURS:
    Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
    High school diploma or general education degree required. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Two years prior experience in medical billing/collections is preferred.

    None.
