Patient Accounts Director oversees all functions of the inpatient and/or outpatient accounting office. Directs a staff of credit, collection, insurance, and billing personnel. Being a Patient Accounts Director ensures billing deadlines are met. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Additionally, Patient Accounts Director typically reports to top management. The Patient Accounts Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Under the direction of the Associate Director of Student Accounts, the Assistant Director will be responsible for the Accounts Receivables and Colleges Loan Receivables process as outlined below. The Assistant Director will serve in this dual capacity in assisting both families and students to ensure that the College’s Loan and Student Accounts Receivables meet best practice guidelines in terms of technology and effectiveness and the service provided meets the College’s standard of excellence.
This is an exempt position with a pay range of $58,459 - $60,000.
