Director Patient Access *Remote*

This position has oversight responsibilities for Pre-Registration, Onsite Registration, Insurance Verification, Authorizations and Financial Counseling. Serves as a liaison between the local ministries and Regional Patient Financial Services. This person will be expected to meet with local teams on site from time to time at Providence locations in Southern California so residing locally will be preferred.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• 10 or more years in progressively responsible experience in healthcare, revenue cycle, and/or administrative services.

• 8 years of Leadership/supervisory responsibility.

• Demonstrated experience evaluating organizational needs, designing process changes, and successfully implementing business improvements in areas under control.
