Compensation and Benefits:
Hiring Salary Range: $41,331. - $46,492. Full Salary Range: $41,331. - $ 63,229. Annually

Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm ( 1st shift )
Monday - Friday 10:00 am -7:00 pm ( 2nd shift )
The Water Accounts Field Representative position is primarily responsible for reading 107,000 water meters using a mobile reading and collections system. This position also conducts investigations to determine high and low water consumption. The position is also responsible for new cut-offs and cut-offs for customers moving in and out of residences, the disconnection and reconnection of delinquent water accounts (including NSF checks and illegal consumption), the checking for leaks and cross connections and illegal devices. This position also has to read water meters to ensure that reading and billing schedules are maintained. The ability to make decisions and adapt procedures to resolve issues or problems; Effectively communicate, orally and in writing, with customers and city staff. and the ability to multi-task and organize schedules. This job is Non-Exempt and is subject to the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards ActMinimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- "OR" an equivalency of 3 years of education with 6 years of work experience reading meters
- Valid Driver's License
- 4-6 years of related experience (i.e., reading water meters using a mobile reading and collections system, new cut-on and cut-offs for customers, etc.)
- Technical and customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Mobile reading and AMI technical systems
- Experience with the EnQuesta billing system
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)
