Patient Accounts Representative organizes inpatient and outpatient claims for electronic or hard copy mail and forwards to appropriate third party payers. Reviews claims to make sure that payer specific billing requirements are met, follows-up on billing, determines and applies appropriate adjustments, answers inquiries, and updates accounts as necessary. Being a Patient Accounts Representative requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Patient Accounts Representative works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Position Overview:
Works directly with the insurance company, healthcare provider, and possibly the patient to get a claim processed and paid. Required to review and appeal all unpaid and denied claims. We use Advanced MD, Clinix, Nextech & MOD MED/EMA PM systems.

All employees in the Accounts Receivable department work a scheduled shift of 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We pay you for 2–15-minute breaks and ask you to clock out for a 30-minute lunch break.
Our team wears scrubs and sneakers and we provide 2 sets of scrubs after you have worked with us for 90 days. You are welcome to wear the company t-shirt we provide with jeans on Thursdays & Fridays.
