Coordinates activities and schedules work assignments to meet billing deadlines. Being a Patient Accounts Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Patient Accounts Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred, or equivalent years of work
experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced Accounts Payable department.
Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge of accounts payable principles and financial record keeping.
