Position Purpose:
Provides education, training and development to staff and leads all day to day functions in their specific area of the ER Registration Department. The Supervisor ensures, that when applicable, all charts are registered with all insurance information is performed, quality and accuracy of demographic and billing information is maintained at the highest standard and collection of patient co-pays, deductibles and coinsurance is attempted within established guidelines.
This position will work closely with the Patient Access Supervisor-Registration, Financial Counselors, Controller and Patient Access Director. This patient will work with the Patient Access Director and ER Nurse Manager to resolve any issues within their area of the Patient Access Department.
