The Primary Responsibilities of this Role are:

• Enter and upload material and vendor bills into system daily
• Upload documents into company database
• Maintain subcontractor and vendor files
• Research and resolve bill discrepancies and issues
• Verify purchases
• Correspond with subcontractors and vendors - respond to inquiries
• Collect missing receipts
• Maintain confidentiality of organizational information
• Other duties as assigned

You will be successful in this role if your background and capabilities include:

• Proven working experience as accounts payable clerk (or accounts receivable clerk)
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles
• Data entry skills
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets
• Proficiency in MS Office and QuickBooks
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Knowledge of accounts payable
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• 1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience

• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Professional verbal and written etiquette
• Professional demeanor and appearance
