    Westminster Canterbury at Home & Senior Options are looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Supervisor.

    Schedule: M-F 8:30AM-5:00PM

    WHAT YOU WILL DO: 

    • Direct Supervision of HCBS billing team to include but not limited to the administration and coordination of accurate and timely billing, prompt collection of due and overdue accounts, and best-in class monitoring of aging and AR activity versus benchmarks.
    • Direct a variety of personnel actions to include, but not limited to hiring, coaching, developing, timely performance appraisals, merit recommendation, promotions, transfers, vacation schedules, and dismissals.  
    • Keep abreast of current Medicare/Medicaid billing rules and regulations.
    • Supervise the Accounts Receivable (AR) Team, overseeing billing and collection processes for Senior Options partners and WCAH.
    • Serve as primary partner financial AR liaison for Senior Options by preparing various reports and attend meetings with Senior Options partners. 
    • Respond promptly to customer (partner) inquiries and/or concerns.
    • Process third-party reimbursement claims, primarily Medicare, and Managed Care
    • Develop and implement billing policies and procedures, and submit reports on claim status and productivity.
    • Generate complex AR-related reports for decision-making, analyze reports, and recommend improvements.
    • Collaborate with the AR Team and partners to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments.
    • Act as the primary contact for Home Health/ Hospice Billing Clients and regulatory bodies regarding billing matters.
    • Oversee the implementation of new billing software, upgrades, and technological advancements.
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing system rate master files and coordinate annual rate updates.
    • Coordinate the completion of annual AR audit schedules and analyze trends related to insurance denials and bad debt.
    • Conduct regular training sessions for the AR Team and other staff members.
    • Manage the cash receipt function to ensure timely deposits and accurate recording.
    • Handle secondary payer claims (Medicaid and Commercial carriers) for Medicare Part A and B services.
    • Review and approve invoices for ancillary charges, refunds, balance write-offs, and adjustments.
    • Follow up on delinquent accounts and research billing regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
    • Develop, document, and update billing processes and procedures as needed for efficiency.
    • Prepare and review monthly AR aging reports and present findings to management and partners.


     

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing rules and regulations.
    • Minimum of three years of healthcare billing and finance experience, preferably in Home and Community Based  Services.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic billing systems.
    • Advanced analytical skills and Excel proficiency for reporting and data analysis.
    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and resolving account issues.
    • Strong leadership, organization, and planning abilities.
    • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Sedentary work with extended computer use.
    • Ability to file and retrieve documents.
    • Flexibility with work hours as needed.
