Integrated Community Services (ICS) is hiring a Full-Time Appointment Runner to assist individuals with intellectual disabilities living in group home settings in the Abilene area.  Personal care of individuals with developmental disabilities during transportation to and from medical appointment. 

The ideal candidate should have caregiver experience, and be fun, clean, mature, dependable, organized, respectful, and patient in challenging situations.

Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm

Duties include:

• Driving company vehicles
• General supervision and monitoring of individuals served during medical appointments
• Assistance with ambulation of individuals served (in and out of company vehicles and medical office waiting rooms)
• Assistance with grooming and toileting
• Scheduling medical appointments
• Facilitating communication between office nursing personnel and outside medical professionals
• Specialized documentation and organization of records
• Maintaining receipts for purchases
• Assist Office Assistant with clerical functions during free time (e.g., days without scheduled medical appointments)

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Valid and current Texas Driver's License 
• Clear Background Check 
• Clear DMV Check 
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Proof of Education 
• No confirmation of Abuse/Neglect/Exploitation of an elderly or disabled person 
• No history of Medicaid fraud.
