Patient Scheduler Needed
Our busy eye care practice needs a patient scheduler to set the expectations for appointments and assure our patients their visit will go as smoothly as possible. This position is perfect for someone who can multitask and wants to be on a team of professionals.
You'll have the ability to develop your skills through on-site training, continued education, and with each patient interaction. This position offers you an opportunity for stability with a career in healthcare.
NO Experience Needed:
Prior eyecare or medical office experience is a plus, but it’s certainly not required. We offer paid training for the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning to our Exceptional Standard of Care!
Some of your duties will include:
- Using your friendliest phone voice to answer incoming calls, take messages, complete outreach to patients (re-engagement required)
- Consistent cross-training for optimal career growth
- Assisting in opening and closing the office
- Verifying their medical history, and insurance memberships for maximum benefit
- Understanding and respecting patient privacy laws
- Making sure patients feel welcome as soon as they walk in the door
- Pleasantly answering questions and making appointments for existing and potential clients
- Reviewing and organizing patient medical charts for accuracy and authenticity
