Susong Dermatology is looking for an Appointment Scheduler to join our Call Center team. The ideal candidate has excellent phone and communication skills, a pleasant demeanor, is highly organized, has excellent attention to detail, and is able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Answering the phone and directing calls
• Scheduling patient appointments and assisting patients with existing appointments
• Rescheduling patient appointments
• Managing the provider's schedules
• Communicating with patients regarding instructions
• Obtaining patient demographic and insurance information
• Handling email communications and appointment requests from patients
• Maintaining monthly call log

Qualifications

• Prior appointment scheduling or customer service experience in a health care setting is preferred. 
• Must have basic computer skills, electronic health record or electronic scheduling experience preferred
• Must have a professional phone voice and pleasant demeanor
